Innovated from popular demand, unpainted stand alone lettering comes on a base so it can be displayed on a shelf, mantle, cabinets, or any other surface. Present stand alone wooden letters for a baby shower gift, housewarming party, or anniversary. Because the wood lettering can be set on any surface, they can be used for reference or direction signs as well. Precision cut and sanded, your free standing words or letters arrive ready to paint or stain.
We make our indoor-rated stand alone lettering from 3/8 or 1/2 inch thick Baltic Birch Plywood, which is one of the strongest wood materials available for sign and craft projects. A 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch thick base arrives attached to your lettering depending on size. The laser cutting leaves a dark edge. Each word is cut as one piece, please let us know if you would like the lettering cut any other way.

The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify. Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below
Note: All Letters in the 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 inch thickness are cut with a laser which leaves a dark smooth edge as shown above. The edge can be painted over. The 1/2 and 3/4 thick lettering are cut with a computer controlled router and then the edges are sanded smooth.
