Painted wood letters quickly and easily personalize any room. Both boys and girls appreciate having his/her name displayed on the wall in decorative lettering, and hanging wooden letters on a nursery wall is a nice way to welcome a new baby. Also, painted wooden letters can be used to decorate common areas in the home with words special to you and your family. We cut all letters custom so we can make any size, small or large. Decorative letters are hand painted with an indoor-rated matte acrylic paint on the sides and the face but not the back. We offer several colors including fresh-looking white wood letters, girlie purple or pink wood letters, and jewel-toned dark red or navy blue wood letters. Painted wood lettering adds a nice dimension to any wall and we recommend at least a ¼ inch thickness for most projects.

We cut our standard indoor lettering from Baltic Birch Plywood which is one of the strongest wood materials available for sign and craft projects.

Our painted wall letters do not come with any mounting hardware. Double sided mounting tape and removable spray adhesive are available for purchase when submitting your order. If you would rather hang your wooden letters by a nail, we suggest purchasing framing hardware locally or attaching ribbon to the back of the letter. We do not recommend installing letters directly above a crib in the event they may fall.

The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify. Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below

Note: All Letters in the 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 inch thickness are cut with a laser which leaves a dark smooth edge as shown above. The edge can be painted over. The 1/2 and 3/4 thick lettering are cut with a computer controlled router and then the edges are sanded smooth before painting.

The paint quality was very poor. The white paint was see through. The letters were stuck together in shipping and the paint was chipped. Should purchased them non painted.
