Craftcuts may be the best source for custom craft letters, shapes and home decor, but our staff is experienced with outdoor lettering as well. We have a professional paint booth that can process acrylic craft orders as well as high end automotive paint projects. These painted Medex letters are primed, sanded, primed, and sanded smooth before the glossy and durable coat of paint is applied. Order lettering for a small business or just one letter for sleek monogram decoration on the outside of your home.
Medex is an engineered wood made from small wood fibers pressed together to make a dense composite that is held together with water resistant glue that keeps moisture from seeping into the letter. We coat the face and sides of the letter with two layers of primer and then finish with a glossy automotive grade paint and clear coat. For 1/2" and thicker, we recommend ordering studs and template to mount the letters. Studs are threaded Aluminum prongs that stick out of the back of the letter for blemish-free application. The mounting studs should be adhered into the holes drilled in the back of the letter and installed with a paper mounting template showing the location of the studs. Thinner letters can be mounted with outdoor-rated adhesive.
Shipping Note: Letters exceeding 26 inches in height may be subject to actual shipping charges which may be more than what is shown in the shopping cart at the conclusion of your order. We will contact you if actual shipping charges apply to your order.
The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify. Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered.
