How to Apply Vinyl Wall Letters

Vinyl letters are very simple to apply to virtually any surface. They will arrive on a thick, sturdy paper backing and covered with an opaque see-through transfer tape.

1. Carefully peel off the thick backing

2. Use a measuring tape and level as necessary to place the letters as desired over the mounting surface. The opaque transfer tape will allow you to see the letters for easy placement.

3. Press the letters and tape to the mounting surface or wall

4. Working from the center out, use your hand, fingers, or a smoothing tool (a common spatula will work just fine) to smooth the letters onto the wall. Be sure to eliminate any air bubbles or creases.

5. Starting from the edge, very carefully peel off the transfer tape, leaving the letters on the wall.

6. If a letter does come up with the tape, simply smooth the tape back over it, press and smooth, and try again. If necessary, hold the edge of the letter with a fingernail as you pull the tape away and smooth over the letter once more.
