Craftcuts.com offers a custom selection of hand painted wooden letters. Each one-of-a-kind letter is hand painted by a skilled artist with a great attention to detail. Besides offering over 35 original designer patterns, we have over 1700 fonts available and can cut lettering in a variety of sizes. Our hand painted designer wall letters are the absolute in creating an original piece of art that personalizes any room. Add a nice color accent and ease of installation by ordering ribbon to hang the letter by a nail. We offer a wide variety of ribbon colors and patterns from quaint gingham, solid grosgrain, or silky sheer ribbon. Letters are hand painted with an indoor-rated matte acrylic paint on the sides and the face, but not the back. The pattern is painted on the face of the letter and the sides are painted a matching solid color. We are willing to change paint colors within a pattern on any of our hand painted wood letters at your request. To maximize the surface area of your lettering and ensure your pattern will be displayed in full, we recommend avoiding fonts with thin strokes and encourage ordering bold fonts. Painted wood lettering adds a nice dimension to any wall and we recommend at least a ¼ inch thickness for most projects.
We cut our standard indoor lettering from Baltic Birch Plywood which is one of the strongest wood materials available for sign and craft projects.
Our wooden painted letters do not come with any mounting hardware. Double sided mounting tape, removable spray adhesive, or ribbon are available for purchase when submitting your order. Colors may vary from your screen due to monitor displays, please contact us to request paint and ribbon swatches. Patterns may vary from examples depending on size, font, and lettering ordered. Due to the absolute custom nature of this product, we do not accept returns.

Letter Sizing Information
The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the
font you specify. Some uppercase/lowercase letters are shorter (or taller)
than the height you specify on the order form so that they will look
porportionate to each other. For example, if you wanted to order the name,
Ashley, and you ordered all the letters the same size, you would get the
following letter sizes in relation to each other.

Note: All Letters in the 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 inch thickness are cut with a laser which
leaves a dark smooth edge as shown above. The edge can be painted over. The 1/2 and
3/4 thick lettering are cut with a computer controlled router and then the edges
are sanded smooth before painting.
