Baltic Birch wooden numbers are perfect for small wood number projects and come in way more wood number font styles than could be offered at a craft or hardware store. Each craft number is made custom per order, arrives ready to paint or stain for your number sign and can be cut at fractional heights. Because the decorative numbers are made from a non-outdoor rated wood, we do not recommend using these decorative house numbers on surfaces that endure direct weather and are best used as a house number sign, mailbox number, or door numbers that are undercover or indoors which makes them ideal as decorative clock numbers as well.
Baltic Birch house numbers feature a better edge painting surface than standard plywood and have a nice grain for staining. If you are looking for wood letters thicker than ¾ inch, we have unpainted MDF wooden numbers.
Our unpainted wooden letters do not come with any mounting hardware. Double sided mounting tape and removable spray adhesive are available for purchase when submitting your order. If you would rather hang your wooden letters by a nail, we suggest purchasing framing hardware locally.

The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify. Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below
Note: All Letters in the 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 inch thickness are cut with a laser which leaves a dark smooth edge as shown above. The edge can be painted over. The 1/2 and 3/4 thick lettering are cut with a computer controlled router and then the edges are sanded smooth.
