Why buy a single use stencil? It is an adhesive stencil which means paint bleeding behind the stencil is minimal and the letters do not have bridges requiring post project touch ups.

These vinyl stencils are precision cut for smooth lines and professional painting results. Because they are made custom, we can cut just about any font and size, and love helping with special projects

The stencil will arrive on a waxy backing with transfer tape on the face that resembles a big piece of masking tape. To apply, remove the waxy paper backing and apply both the transfer tape and stencil to the surface. Use a flat flexible tool like a squeegee or credit card to secure the stencil. Crease down the corner of the transfer tape and slowly remove it while keeping the stencil stuck to the surface.

When applying, use a moderate amount of paint. When ready to remove, the sticker stencil will come off with a slow and strong pull from one corner.

A 3" border on all sides of the lettering is standard unless a different width is specified. Stencils over 24" in height will be subject to oversized shipping fees. Ships in 4-6 business days.

The letter height you order is based on the uppercase letter "A" of the font you specify. Depending on the font, some uppercase/lowercase letters may be shorter or taller than the height you specify on the order form so they will look proportionate to each other. Therefore, you may receive some of your lettering in different dimensions than the letter height ordered. If all lettering is ordered in lower case, we still scale the lettering to an uppercase "A" which will make most of the letters smaller than what was ordered. Please contact us if you would like to size your lettering differently from our standards. Please see examples below

I ordered the one use vinyl stencil for a bridal shower gift. I used etching cream and the stencil to etch the brides soon to be last name onto a pyrex casserole dish. It turned out fantastic! Smooth crisp lines with no bleeding under the stencil like previous stencils I've used. The gift was a HUGE hit with everyone there and I got several requests to make more. The one stic stencil was perfect and I will definitely be using it again. The only thing I wish it had was gridlines on the backing so that alignment would be easier.

I was having trouble both getting the stencils sticking my canvas (I paint in acrylics) and then separating the top of the stencil from the 2d sheet. Then I realized my studio was cold (bad winter day). I warmed up the stencil with my hairdryer and it all worked better.
